Why do we private bill?
We are experienced optometrists who aim to deliver the most thorough eye care experience for you and your family. We invest in the latest equipment and keep abreast with the latest research and studies on best practice eyecare. We practice evidence based eyecare.
What is the
Retinal Scan?
Digital retinal imaging technology allows our optometrists to capture and visualise the retina with one complete view. This allows for photo documentation and detects retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, branch retinal vein occlusions, diabetic eye disease and optic neuritis.
What is the
Ocular Coherence Tomography Scanning allows our optometrists to visualise the deeper layers of the retina. This enables them to detect early changes to the sub-retinal layers in eye conditions such as Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and Epiretinal Membranes.

It is technology that is commonly used in ophthalmology to monitor disease progression.

Proview Optical Optometrists utilise this technology to help detect eye conditions, earlier than in other methods of testing.

Early detection and appropriate management will help to preserve and maintain optimal eye health and function.
